After a quick week away, we were super stoked to be back at The Iron Fairies last night in front of an enthusiastic capacity crowd. What a night! Thank you so much to everyone who came personally to share their excitement for our return.
We've never really talked about it, but this time we've spent at The Iron Fairies over the last six months has been really good for us as a band. It's allowed us to do a couple of things you can't really do anywhere else. First of all, it's arguably the most professionally run nightclub in Bali, so you have the advantage of top-line management, a brilliantly attentive staff, and exceptional promotion on your side whenever you are asked to perform there. Secondly, they really let us get away with murder on stage. We can change sets midstream, we can play what we want to, we can move around the 3-story venue and go anywhere our wireless systems will allow, and we can experiment with ideas that would be frowned upon in less active environments. We really do owe a huge debt of massive gratitude to Raimundo, Mohamed, Ari, and Dara for the opportunity to play their amazing place, but it's all of you who come out for shows that make it most worthwhile.
